Albuquerque saves $900,000 per year with LED traffic signals

The Achievement

The majority of  traffic signals in Albuquerque, N.M., use LED lights instead of less efficient light bulbs. The city estimates that this saves $900,000 a year in energy bills, as well as reduces greenhouse gas emissions through reduced energy consumption.
