ICLEI Midwest Regional Workshop

We've lined up sessions that help you fully prepare for impending application deadlines for the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) Program and other programs. Our workshop will include:
- Interactive trainings on accessing EECBG funding and other economic recovery opportunities
- Panel discussions with Midwest ICLEI members that are making the most out of federal funding opportunities, including a talk with Dave Konkle, former Energy Office Manager in Ann Arbor, MI, on establishing a municipal energy office with recovery funds.
- Using ICLEI tools and resources to develop strong funding applications
- Regional networking and peer-to-peer exchanges

Travel Information
The Midwest Regional Workshop will take place at the Chicago Center for Green Technology, located approximately 4 miles west of downtown Chicago at 445 N. Sacramento Blvd.
The Center can be the Center can be easily accessed by taxi or from the “Loop” on the Chicago Transit Authority’s Green Line (Harlem/Lake direction). Exit at the California station and take the #94 South California bus northbound on California right outside the station, which drops off right outside the venue. The Center is one-half mile north of the station on the right-hand side of the street. Plan your trip by transit here.
