Seattle Plans to Double Energy Savings

Mayor Greg Nickels announced a $185 million plan Wednesday to double the city's energy conservation over five years -- an amount equal to the annual energy use of 180,000 Seattle homes. The program, which targets residential and commercial electricity use, could save customers $310 million over that time.
