Webinar: Electronic Product Environmental Assessment Tool (EPEAT)
ICLEI will host a webinar on September 11 at 1 p.m. about how to purchase green computers, using the Electronic Product Environmental Assessment Tool (EPEAT). EPEAT is an environmental performance standard for desktops, monitors, and notebook computers that can help local governments achieve greenhouse gas reduction goals. Please join the teleconference to learn more about EPEAT, who's using it, how to identify EPEAT qualified products, and how local government can easily incorporate EPEAT into computer procurements. The presentation will also include a demonstration of the Electronics Environmental Benefits Calculator that estimates greenhouse gas reductions achieved by purchasing and recycling EPEAT products.
