Milestone Four: Implement policies and measures.
Milestone Four begins the process of implementing the policies and measures contained in your climate action plan. Typical policies and measures include energy efficiency improvements to municipal buildings and water treatment facilities, streetlight retrofits, public transit improvements, installation of renewable power applications, and methane recovery from waste management.
This Milestone is by far the broadest. Below, ICLEI has compiled our own extensive implementation resources and guidebooks. Another effective way to find resources from ICLEI -- and countless other organizations -- is to search using keywords in our resource library.
