Energy Efficiency for Your Facilities

City Hall building The CEC will be providing several opportunities for local governments to fund cost-effective energy saving measures in their facilities through the State Energy Program and the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant Program. Leverage your savings through a Revolving Energy Loan Fund to fund further retrofits in your facilities and your community.

EECBG Funding for Small Local Governments Available now! Formula funding guarantees small local governments that did not receive federal EECBG fund money to fund cost-effective energy saving measures in their facilities. Funds may also be used for creating regional clean energy municipal financing (CEMF) district programs.

Low-Interest Energy Efficiency Financing Program

Available now! The CEC has used ARRA funding to provide low interest loans to local governments and other public institutions to fund energy efficiency retrofits in their facilities. Take advantage of 1 and 3 percent interest loans while funds last.

Municipal and Commercial Building Retrofit Program

Available now! This competitive program will fund public-private partnerships that develop programs to establish volume purchasing agreements, conduct energy efficiency training, deploy retrofits, and otherwise facilitate commercial and municipal energy efficiency retrofits.
