Available now! Help low-income residents in your community save money while saving energy. Encourage them to apply for to free energy efficiency audits and upgrades. Provide outreach and technical assistance that can link them with free services.

Comprehensive Residential Building Retrofit Program

Available now! The CEC’s competitive funding program will fund local government collaborations that facilitate residential retrofits by providing energy efficiency training, marketing, financing, and verification assistance to homeowners and building professionals.

Municipal and Commercial Building Retrofit Program

Available now! This competitive program will fund public-private partnerships that develop programs to establish volume purchasing agreements, conduct energy efficiency training, deploy retrofits, and otherwise facilitate energy efficiency retrofits.

Municipal Financing Program

Available now! Available to local governments or collaborations of local governments, this competitive funding program will allow local governments to create energy efficiency and renewable energy financing districts (through AB 811).

Available now! Formula funding guarantees small local governments that did not receive federal EECBG money to fund cost-effective energy saving measures in their facilities. Funds may also be used for creating regional clean energy municipal financing (CEMF) district programs.
