State Energy ProgramThe State Energy Program will receive $3.1 billion of funding, and states may provide money to local governments for local renewable and efficiency projects. Alternative Fueled Vehicles Pilot Grant Program (DOE Clean Cities Program)The Clean Cities Program received $300 million to help grant recipients acquire motor vehicles with a higher fuel economy, including hybrid vehicles, electric vehicles, commercially available plug-in hybrid vehicles and the necessary infrastructure.
