Lisa Milligan

Advisor, Renewable Energy Program - Boston, MA

Lisa is the Advisor of ICLEI USA’s Renewable Energy Program and oversees provision of technical assistance to locally based government jurisdictions to accelerate the adoption of solar energy technologies. ICLEI's efforts are part of the U.S. Department of Energy's Solar America Communities program, and focus on strengthening the role of local governments as change agents in transforming America's energy markets by expanding solar energy production and consumption.

Lisa joined ICLEI in 2010 and previously worked in various environmental program and organizational leadership roles for the International Fund for Animal Welfare, the International City/County Management Association, and Booz Allen Hamilton. Lisa has an M.S. in environmental science and policy from The Johns Hopkins University, is pursuing a M.Ed. in science education from Lesley University, and holds a B.A. in psychology from Connecticut College.
