Eli Yewdall

Eli Yewdall is a Program Officer supporting members in Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states to meet their sustainability, energy, and climate goals. Eli has provided detailed technical and process support to members for over three years on topics ranging from greenhouse gas inventories to establishing an effective green team and institutionalizing sustainability. Eli supports members in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, the District of Columbia, West Virginia, Virginia, and North Carolina.

Before joining ICLEI, Eli worked for two years as a full-time volunteer with St Joseph's House of Hospitality in Rochester, NY to provide meals and shelter to and advocate on behalf of homeless individuals. Eli has produced educational materials on climate change for the Environmental Justice and Climate Change Initiative, and participated in writing the international youth declaration on climate change in Montreal, Canada in 2005.  Eli has a Masters in Energy and Resources from the University of California, Berkeley, and a BS from Gonzaga University.
